Whether you need assistance with a specific life transition, like the death of a family member or friend, a change in your marital status, or an unexpected change in your job, or simply desire an expert to help you organize your financial life, we're here to help.
As a fee-only advisor, we are paid only for the quality of the financial planning and asset management services we provide. That means we do not accept any commissions for selling certain products, or for purchasing or selling certain investments. Instead, we base our fee on a broader set of services of greater value to you. In other words, the only compensation we ever receive comes directly from you, our client.
What services do we offer, and how do we charge?
We structure our fee relationships as either a percentage of assets we manage on your behalf or a fixed fee agreement based upon the scope of financial planning services we provide, as described below:
►Wealth Management Services (generally reserved for clients with investable assets of $500,000** or more):
The services included in this offering are:

An initial Financial Plan (updated annually) that includes a net worth summary and financial projections of assets required to fund your current and future financial goals and objectives.

A detailed review of your current investment portfolio and development of a specific recommended asset management strategy based upon your unique goals and risk tolerance level.

Unlimited email and telephone communications, in addition to in-person, semi-annual review meetings.

Proactive and ongoing asset management billed in accordance with the fee schedule below:

The minimum annual fee for Wealth Management Services is $5,000** ($1,250/quarter). For services significantly beyond those described above, a separate fixed fee based upon the complexity and type of services rendered may be charged.
Our fees are assessed quarterly, in advance, and calculated as a percentage of the quarter-end values of the accounts defined in your advisory agreement.
►Annual Financial Planning Services (includes no asset management services)
Over a 12-month period, our annual financial planning services generally include ongoing guidance in multiple areas beyond investment advice, such as cash flow planning, investment planning and research, charitable giving, estate and income tax planning, employee benefits, insurance planning, and any other matter that affects your finances.
Fees for our financial planning services are billed quarterly and range from $2,500/year for a Basic Financial Plan up to $6,900/year for a more complex Comprehensive Financial Plan.

A Basic Financial Plan includes:

Completion of a personal planning assessment, including a net worth summary and financial projection of assets required to fund your current and future financial goals and objectives.

A general review of your current investment portfolio and development of a recommended asset management strategy based upon your unique goals and risk profile.

General review of your existing beneficiary designations and their impact on your desired estate plan.

Development of an action plan to implement agreed upon recommendations.

Assistance with the implementation of your specific recommendations is not included.

A Comprehensive Financial Plan includes all services of a Basic Financial Plan, plus the following (as applicable):
Detailed review of your existing beneficiary designations and current estate plan to ensure they meet your desired legacy wishes. If you do not have an estate plan in place, recommendations specific to your estate planning needs will be provided.
Analyze your tax situation and provide suggestions for reducing your tax liabilities.

Analyze the impact of your current savings, earnings, investments, and spending on your long-term financial situation. We'll provide you with recommendations to help maximize your cash flow to improve your financial outlook.

Provide you with specific investment recommendations that take into account your risk tolerance, risk capacity, and unique financial goals.

Analyze your existing annuities, life insurance, disability policies, medical plans, and long-term care contracts. We'll help you understand what you have, how each one fits within your financial plan, and recommend necessary changes to reduce your risk.

Review of the various incentive compensation packages available to you through your employer (e.g., stock options, restricted stock, deferred compensation, employee stock purchase programs, etc.) to maximize your benefits.

Review your outstanding debt and provide specific recommendations for effectively reducing or eliminating it.

Make specific recommendations to help you better plan for college expenses.

Assist with the implementation of any prior recommendations as needed.

To provide you with the highest level of advice to meet your needs, we welcome the opportunity to work with your other trusted advisors (e.g., tax and legal professionals, insurance agents, etc.) on an as-needed basis. Should you need it, we are happy to provide you with recommendations for professionals within these areas of expertise.
After we learn more about the services you seek, we'll provide you with a detailed quote for our services.
